I have been having issues dating this app… I have contacted the developer (who has been very responsive) but we still have not fixed the problem… i tried to delete the app and reinstall but that caused a second purchase.. so i have bought it twice!!!

Very accurate!! A must have, have had this app for 4-5 years now and cant imagine boating without it in Georgian bay! Great app.

I use this app frequently and used it to get from Rhode Island to Kingston - great all the way. I didnt buy map updates, but can still download maps anytime. Not sure if Im treated differently because I purchased before map update options, but my sense is that my map downloads are not back from the date I purchased the app.

Too expensive. Look for cheaper alternatives ... they exist.

Works extremely well and has wonderful details in the charts. Highly recommended.

They have added in app adds really annoying. Especially as it is a paid app.

The maps in Canada are horribly inaccurate. Using the app is worse than not using the app.

I have instaled this app on my iPhone 4. And it is a very good and interesting sea navigation programm. But... Wehe got a 3 hours boat riding. And I wanted to write the whole track. But for this 3 hours this program crashed about 4 times. And it never save the track before crash! And when it crushes it fully crashes my iPhone 4. So it need to be switched on. So I was able to write only one track - the back way to marina. Next week I will test HD version (for iPad) and write down the report. p.s. I can send additional reports from my iPhone 4 to developers if you are need it and explain me how to do it. Sergey, Moscow.

The basic app is fine. My parents live in Matlacha Florida. Google satellite image is perfect but the chart overlay is inaccurate placing canals in the wrong spot, in fact they cover there home. You could never use this to navigate the canals and that raises the question of accuracy in the pass where its shallow and easy to ground.

This app does not work. They will not refund your money. it will cost you to download the new version when they fix it. They have got me twice. Its a scam.

I had a problem with the search function and navionics tech support came through and helped me fix the problem. Their level of support is most impressive and this app is a must have for boaters.

Used this to get through the fog on Lake Ontario last month. My Garmin went out and had to use the app. Got us in safe and sound

I used this app about five times and three times my iPhone has crashed. For a $15 app it should be bug-free. Save your money and wait for an update to ver 1.3.

There is no useful level of navigation detail in is application. Moreover it is iPhone format only and pretends to support iPad by doubling the magnification, rather than painting a larger screen.

Downloaded this app., found it useful but it caused my data usage to increase exponentially! Even though I was in areas where I had downloaded the maps it was still causing my phone to download up to 40mb per day! Struggled with it for a while then had to delete as AT&T is unforgiving with their data. Also very slow to aquire location via GPS when not near cell towers. Should also allow the satellite overlay to show through over water, not just land.

Good thing I didnt listen to all the negative reviews. Works well.

Works great an happy now and recommend to anyone with craft on lake, river, open water.

GreatApp and was even better before an update removed the ability of a user to delete detailed map coverage at will! This is a significant step backwards in functionality. Now anytime you take a detailed look an area, you are stuck with all that data taking up storage space on your device. It is always a bad sign when a company starts removing functionality from an App. Buyers beware!!
